At WeLIFT Job Search Center, we’re supporting individuals and families struggling through the current employment landscape. We seek to give our clients hope and "lift" them up out of discouragement, unemployment, or poverty. We offer 1 on 1 job coaching, resume building, interviewing practice, connections to additional resources, and have a computer lab. ALL our services are free thanks to ALL our donors. Job Coaching

With our organization’s mission always in mind, we strive to find new strategies for dealing with career changes and employment obstacles. WeLIFT job coaches help prepare resumes. We brainstorm and connect you with resources to accomplish what goals you have. Contact us to learn more about our commitment to your cause.

Computer Lab with Printer

At WeLIFT Job Search Center, we are dedicated to assisting any support with job searches and paperwork. Thanks to WeLIFT's donors, our facility is equipped to facilitate progress in this area. We are always striving to make a difference. You're welcome during office hours or can schedule time to utilize outside of those hours with WeLIFT staff.

Let's Get 2 Work Program

Let’s Get 2 WORK is a collaboration between Connect to Careers, WeLIFT Job Search Center and the local school district to help students/clients as they transition from high school into adulthood and the world of work. These services are provided at NO COST to the school district or students.

THE PROGRAM PROVIDES:

•Skills to create resumes as well as obtain andmaintain employment•Paid and unpaid work experience, job shadowing, internships, and apprenticeships•Soft skills training (on-the-job (OTJ) communication best practices, interview skills, OJT conflict resolution)•Connection to HiSET and apprenticeships •Exploration of post-high school programming including college, apprenticeships, andtraining opportunities•Financial literacy education •Leadership development opportunities •Support following goal achievement •Connections to other community resourcesand collaborations•Personal & Mental Wellness training (Mindfulness training, Yoga)

WHO SHOULD ENROLL:

Participants in Let’s Get 2 WORK are aged14-24 who are experiencing life challenges which may include one or more of the following: •Financial hardships •Court involvement •School credit recovery •Unemployment or underemployment •High school drop-out•Foster care involvement •Pregnancy or parenting •Low academic skills •Counseling services •Homeschooled •Mental/physical health conditions
